【編集部記事】米Semanticweb.comに、World Wide Web Consortium（本部：米国マサチューセッツ州、以後：W3C）のDigital Publishing ActivityリーダーであるIvan Herman氏のインタビュー記事が掲載されている。
Digital Publishing Activityは、昨年6月に新設された電子出版全般に関わる討議を行なうための新グループ「Digital Publishing Interest Group」内の中心チームで、Herman氏はSemantic Webグループから異動してきた。
インタビュー記事によると、Herman氏は当面重要視している課題として1）EPUB電子書籍ビューワ間での付箋データの共有、2）乱立する電子書籍のメタデータ規格の整理、などを取り上げている。【hon.jp】
